Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 has stormed the box office, taking one and all by pleasant surprise. The film opened big at the box office and it refuses to slow down, despite the new releases. The film has reportedly grossed over 1000 crores at the box office, becoming the fourth Indian film to do so, after Baahubali 2, Dangal, and the recent action biggie RRR. The Tamil version of the film has also been performing really well in the theatres, despite clashing with the mega biggie - Beast, starring Thalapathy Vijay. It has been two weeks since the film's release and it has successfully entered the third week with a great hold of screens.

SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, the distributor of KGF 2 took to his official Twitter page to share the report of the film's box office performance. Vijay Sethupathi - Samantha - Nayanthara starrer Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has released in theatres this week and it has occupied a wide number of screens and there is also Vijay's Beast which is holding fairly well. Despite KRK and Beast, KGF 2 has managed to secure a huge number of 350 plus screens in its third week of run in Tamil Nadu.

Thanking the audience for the support, SR Prabhu tweeted, "#kgfchapter2 Continues it’s successful run in third week with 350+ screens! #RockyBhai is still Unstoppable. Thanks to the wonderful audience for the continuous support 😍 😍 🤗 🤗. #KGF2 🔥 🔥 🔥". Looking at the current scenario, it looks like KGF 2 will turn out to be one of the top hits of this year and it is sure to continue its successful run for two more weeks, until the release of Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Sivakarthikeyan's Don.

KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, features Yash in the lead role, playing the iconic character of Rocky Bhai. Produced by Hombale Films on a grand scale, KGF 2 features Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. Raveena Tandon, Malavika Avinash, Prakash Raj, Saran Shakthi, Eswari Rao, and others play supporting roles.
