Rocking Star Yash's KGF 2 has entered the 1000 crores club in style and the development has been officially confirmed by the makers. KGF 2 has collected over 1000 crores and is still running successfully in many centres across the globe. KGF 2 got a dream opening at the box office and its performance hasn't subsided even a bit. The official announcement on collecting 1000 crores at the box office was made through a special video which has turned viral on social media. Srinidhi Shetty who plays the female lead in the film sounded excited about the achievement and shared the video on her official Twitter page.

KGF: Chapter 2 has become the fourth Indian film to enter the 1000 crore club after Rajamouli's Baahubali 2, Aamir Khan's Dangal, and Rajamouli's recent blockbuster RRR. Produced by Vijay Kirgandur under the banner of Hombale Films, the film has music composed by Ravi Basrur whose score played a big part. Sanjay Dutt played the key antagonist in the film, essaying the character of Adheera, and his face-off against Rocky Bhai (Yash) was one of the major highlights. KGF: Chapter 2 is directed by Prashanth Neel who has now become one of the most sought after filmmakers in the country.

KGF 2 features Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Saran Shakthi, Malavika Avinash, Eswari Rao, and others in supporting roles, with cinematography handled by Bhuvan Gowda. With KGF 2, Yash has become a pan Indian star and this has definitely been a game changer for the talented actor. It is going to be quite interesting to see how Yash lines up his next set of projects, going forward. KGF 2 released in theatres on April 14 opening to highly positive reviews from the masses. Leading Tamil producer SR Prabhu presented KGF 2 in Tamil Nadu through his banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Reportedly, the Tamil version of KGF 2 has collected more than 100 crores.
