KGF: Chapter 1 is one of the biggest blockbusters that set the box office on fire. Yash got a huge breakthrough through the film and the character ‘Rocky Bhai’ became the most favourite for the masses. Ever since the release of the first part, the fans have been ardently waiting for the second part, which is scheduled to hit the screens on October 23, during the Pooja holidays. We can be sure that the sequel will have a humongous opening. However, the fans were eagerly waiting for an update about the release of the teaser or trailer and there were many speculations regarding it.

Reacting to those fan requests, an important clarification has now come from the film’s creative executive producer, Karthik Gowda. It has been revealed that the teaser of KGF 2 will not be released anytime soon. Additionally, Karthik said that the trailer will be released close to the film’s release and assured the fans that it will be nothing short of a celebration. This sequel will focus on the face off between Rocky Bhai and Adheera (played by Sanjay Dutt) and it is surely going to set the screens on fire.

This pan-Indian film, which is being made in Kannada, will also release in other languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. With the blockbuster success of the first part, we can expect this sequel to have a humongous opening throughout India, especially in Bangalore and Tamil Nadu. Rocky Bhai has earned a huge support system in Tamil Nadu and there is indeed a special fan base for the Tamil dubbed version. It is going to be interesting to see how the dubbed version of KGF: Chapter 2 works out here!

Produced by Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 will have music scored by Ravi Basrur who gave some adrenaline-pumping songs and background score in the first part. Apart from Yash and Sanjay Dutt, the film also features Raveena Tandon, who will be seen as Ramika Sen, India’s Prime Minister in 1981. Anant Nag, Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar, who were part of the first part will play their respective characters in this sequel. Check out Karthik Gowda’s tweet below:
