It was only a few days back when it was announced that STR would be reuniting with Gautham Menon for an untitled film featuring A. R. Rahman once again.
For a while now, there have been numerous reports stating this upcoming Simbu project would be the sequel to GVM’s 2010 blockbuster, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.

That said, speculations are now rife that this next film would feature STR in a dual role making it the third time he would be playing a double role after his 2004 blockbuster, Manmadhan.
Simbu was also seen in a dual role in Silambattam as a father and son a few years back.
Said to be a mass commercial entertainer, we now await an official statement from either Gautham Menon or Simbu; both oof whom last collaborated for the 2016 smash hit, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.
