World Book day!

World Book day falls on April 23rd every year.�In this connection, a seminar has been organized jointly by the Madras University's Literature department, Tamil Nadu Writers' and Artists' Association and the publishers of�'Puthagam Pesudhu' magazine.�The seminars are conducted by Bharathi Puthagalayam, Chennai.

The event will be held on April 22nd and 23rd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first three sessions of the seminar will conduct discussions on the origin of books and the history of publishing of books, the mode of indexing done in a book, and the influence of technology in book publishing respectively. The final session will discuss the art of publishing books and the publishing houses in India. It will be followed by the 'Puthagam Pesudhu' book release. Eminent writers and experts from the field of book publishing will grace the occasion. Tamizhselvan, Secretary, Writers' forum, R. Natarajan, Editor, Puthagam Pesudhu, Prof. Bernard Bade from University of Yale, A.S. Ilangovan, South Zone Secretary, Sahithya Academy, are some of the dignitaries who will be present�at the event.
