When Shahrukh Khan apologized...
Shahrukh Khan landed in trouble at the star studded audio launch of Ra. One (Tamil), when he casually used the word 'dumb'. Jayashree, a differently-abled girl immediately objected when Shahrukh said that he is keen to act in Tamil film but only as a 'dumb' character due to the language barrier. As modest as always, Khan immediately apologised and asked for the right word to refer people with speech impairment. Jayashree suggested him to use the word 'mute'!
The music was launched in the presence of ace director Mani Ratnam, wife Suhasini, Soundarya Rajinikanth and Abirami Ramanathan. Apart from this, the Tamil and Hindi trailers were also screened.
