The upcoming period film, Kalank, helmed by Abhishek Varman is bankrolled by Dharma Productions in association with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios distributing it.
Kalank raised eyebrows when late actress Sridevi was initially signed on to play an important role, which eventually went to Madhuri Dixit after the former’s sudden demise early last year. This multi-starrer also features Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt among others in starring roles with Pritam composing the music.
The crux of the Kalank's story has been set in 1945, in pre-Independence India and is a tale of eternal love with the film set to hit screens on April 17 and the trailer recently released turning out to be a sensational hit. Now, the video for the song titled “Ghar More Pardesiya” featuring Alia Bhatt and Madhuri Dixit has been released and can be watched below:
