With several sequels in production as well as in line for release, Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2 is one of the most exciting films coming out this year.
We had last month reported that Vishal during the success meet of Irumbu Thirai’s Telugu version, Abhimayudu, had plans to get Sandakozhi 2 into theatres in October as a Pooja holidays release.
Now, those plans have indeed been executed as Sandakozhi 2 as well as its Telugu version, Pandemkodi 2 will hit screens worldwide simultaneously on October 18 on the auspicious occasion of Ayudha Pooja.

Directed by Lingumsamy under the Vishal Film Factory banner, Sandakozhi 2 will see veteran actor Rajkiran reprising his role from the original 2005 blockbuster, Sandakozhi.
Featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the sequel this time will see one of the most popular stars at present, actress Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead.
Furthermore, actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has a role that is said to be quite crucial to the proceedings of the film.
