Vimala Raman opposite Jagapathi Babu in Gayam 2
After pairing up with some of the biggies in the South including Suresh Gopi in Time, Mammootty in Nasrani, Dileep in Romeo and Calcutta News, Mohanlal in College Kumaran, Cheran in Raman Thediya Seethai and Tarun in Chukkalanti Ammai Chakkanaina Abbai, popular Malayalam-Tamil-Telugu actress Vimala Raman will�be Jagapathi Babu's heroine�in Gayam 2, a sequel to his 1993 super hit Gayam.
Gayam is directed by ace Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma's one-time assistant Praveen Sri. Notably, Gayam was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. According to reports, the unit is all set to proceed to Thailand for its 20-days shooting schedule by this month-end. Jagapati Babu’s name in this film is Durga,�his screen name in Gayam. Produced by Dr. Dharma Kartha, Gaayam 2 is based on gang wars and brutal killings.
