The shooting of the film Sakkarai featuring Vimal and Priya Anand will go on floors from January 20. We hear from the team that the actors will be rehearsing the entire script for a week before the actual shooting. Since this film has train sequences, the director aims to cut costs and has asked the lead actors to rehearse so that there won’t be any lag in the shooting spot.
Directed by Kannan, this film has Vimal, Priya Anand and Satish in the lead. Kannan says, ”I've given the bound script to Vimal, Priya Anand and Satish almost a month ago. I will be hiring a hall for a week, so that the three of them can rehearse their lines before we commence shoot. All the technicians, including the cinematographer, will be present during the rehearsal. My ADs will mouth the lines of the other supporting actors. This rehearsal will ensure that we don't waste time and energy during the actual shooting. This way, we can also cut costs. I hear this kind of dress rehearsal is quite common in Bollywood."
