One of the most interesting films of the year, Bakrid, starring Vikranth has been directed by Jagadeesan Subu under the M10 Productions banner. Filming kicked off last year with expectations for the Tamil drama venture quite high since then. Starring Vikranth and Vasundhara Kashyap in the lead roles, composer D. Imman has scored the music for Bakrid, which reportedly is the first film in Indian and Tamil cinema’s history to portray a camel in the pivotal role. Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has been mighty impressed with the film, is distributing it under his Red Giant Movies banner.
With the film set to arrive in theatres worldwide tomorrow (August 23), the makers have now released a new sneak peek scene, which highlights the friendship between Vikranth and the camel. Expectations for Bakrid shot up after the film’s teaser released in February earlier this year left fans spellbound with many lauding the plot that was teased. Many are expecting the film to be quite emotional, especially with the friendship between Vikranth and the camel being billed to be the biggest highlights.
