Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's long-delayed film, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, is finally getting back on track for its release and an official update regarding the same was shared by the actor himself. Vijay Sethupathi took to his official Twitter page yesterday (October 5) to share a new poster of Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir and it carried the release plans of the movie. It has been officially announced that the movie will hit the screens in December 2022 and the exact date will be announced in the coming days. Despite being completed long ago, the film's release was stalled due to various financial hurdles and it looks like all the problems are now sorted out.

Further details regarding the project are awaited. Megha Akash plays the female lead in the film and it is going to be interesting to see the pairing of Vijay Sethupathi and Megha. Riythvika of Bigg Boss fame, director Magizh Thirumeni, director Mohan Raja, late actor Vivekh, Kaniha, Karu Pazhaniappan, Chinni Jeyanth, Vidya Pradeep, Mathura, and others would be playing pivotal roles in this interesting drama that will feature Vijay Sethupathi in multiple makeovers. Directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth, this film has music composed by Nivas K Prasanna of Thegidi and Kootathil Oruthan fame, while the cinematography and editing departments are taken care by Vetrivel Mahendran and John Abraham respectively.

Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the Malayalam drama, 19 (1)(a), co-starring Nithya Menen, and the film had a direct OTT release on Disney Hotstar. Vijay Sethupathi's next release in Tamil cinema will be the highly anticipated Vetri Maaran directorial, Viduthalai which is slated to release in November. The filming of Viduthalai is almost complete and the film will showcase Vijay Sethupathi in a very different dimension. Soori plays the lead role in this film which has music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja.

Vijay Sethupathi will also be playing the key antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming mega biggie, Jawan, directed by Atlee. The face-off between Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi is going to be exciting to watch on the big screen and the fans are eagerly looking forward to it.
