We had reported few days back regarding a likely film project featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role under director Arun Kumar.
The two had previously collaborated twice with their most successful film being Sethupathi in 2016.
The 'Makkal Selvan' and Arun Kumar had also worked in the 2014 film, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum.
Although details around their upcoming project are kept under wraps at this point, reports state the film would be a grand venture with a sizable portion of the production to be carried out in foreign locations predominantly in Malaysia.
In the midst of this, it is now being said actress Anjali is a contender to play the female lead in the film.
It must be noted Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali were previously paired together in the 2016 hit film, Iraivi, with many showering praises on their character arcs as well as their performances.
Anjali has undergone a physical transformation recently and it is believed it could be for the role in this upcoming film. However, an official statement is awaited from the makers.
To be produced by S. N. Rangarajan of K Productions banner, the film will have Iravaakaalam fame Karthik Kannan handling the cinematography.
