Announced last September, ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi will be joining hands with Vaalu and Sketch fame Vijay Chandar for a film to be produced under the Vijaya Vauhini Productions banner.
This yet-to-be-titled film, tentatively titled Vijay Sethupathi 30 includes a talented technical team featuring names like composer D. Imman for the music, R. Velraj for cinematography, Anl Arasu as the stunt choreographer and Prabhakar for the art direction.
Up until now, only Vijay Sethupathi was the only cast member to be revealed with the team now officially announcing that popular comedian Soori has joined the cast.
Soori, who has frequently appeared alongside Sivakarthikeyan has also worked with Vijay Sethupathi in the past in films namely Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu, Naan Mahaan Alla, Sundarapandian and Rummy, during the beginning stages of the Seethakaathi star’s career.
It will be quite interesting to witness them in action as both Vijay Sethupathi and Soori have time and again displayed their flair for comedy in their films in the past.
