Fans will be excited to witness Vijay Sethupathi once again in an action entertainer and DSP directed by Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajinimurugan fame Ponram has no doubt been generating some good buzz ever since it went on floors in 2021 under the tentative title VJS 46. The actor was seen in 2022 in Tamil films like Kadaisi Vivasayi, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Vikram, and Maamanithan, including 19(1)(a) in Malayalam and expectations are high for him to deliver yet another entertaining performance. Vijay Sethupathi will be looking to end the year on a winning note with DSP and promotions for the film are currently in full swing.
DSP was first launched by blockbuster production house Sun Pictures but has apparently since then shifted gears and is now being presented by Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films banner. Vijay Sethupathi has been paired with Former Miss India World Anukreethy Vas, who is making her acting debut, and will be seen alongside an ensemble star cast featuring the likes of Prabhakar, Pugazh, Ilavarasu, Gnanasammandhan, Deepa, Singampuli and others. DSP has been produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam and includes a talented technical team starting with music director D. Imman, while the cinematography is done by Dinesh Krishnan and Venkatesh, and editing is handled by Vivek Harshan.
