The classic Vikram duo - Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh to come together for this mega sequel?

If the latest reports from Tollywood are to be believed, Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has been approached to play a pivotal role as one of the main antagonists in the upcoming Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule. It is said that director Sukumar has got an interesting negative character that he felt Vijay Sethupathi would be ideal to play and as a result, the team has approached him. An official confirmation on this regard is awaited. It can be recalled that Vijay Sethupathi was initially approached to act in Pushpa: The Rise, the first part, but he had opted out of it, due to call sheet issues.

The opportunity has knocked Vijay Sethupathi's door for the second time and we will have to wait and see what Makkal Selvan decides this time. Fahadh Faasil is already a part of Pushpa 2. The multi dimensional actor will be seen one of the antagonists in the film alongside Vijay Sethupathi, if he plays the role. Fahadh Faasil played the character of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the first part and despite appearing only for the last 30 minutes, he left a solid impact on the viewers. He will continue playing his part and we will get to see more of him in the sequel.
Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in this mega action entertainer that has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The shooting of the film is expected to begin very soon and further updates are awaited. Pushpa 1: The Rise released towards the end of 2021 and it turned out to be a raging hit across the country. While the success of the Telugu version was quite certain considering Allu Arjun's phenomenal fan base, but the Hindi and Tamil versions emerged highly successful taking one and all by surprise. The film also helped in expanding Allu Arjun's market across North India.
