The actor made his entry in his luxury car and was seen dressed in a simple white shirt and blue denim jeans, with the meeting said to have lasted nearly two hours after the superstar arrived at around 2 p.m. Prior to Vijay's arrival, those who had gathered at his Panaiyur residence were provided lunch, with the actor leaving at around 4:30 p.m.

With details currently being awaited regarding the actor's latest public appearance, social media has been abuzz with the talk that he had posed for pictures with some of the members who had attended the meeting today at the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. Vijay's latest interaction with members of the VMI has taken place at his Panaiyur residence once again after he held a meeting back in February 2021. Vijay's meeting with the members of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has come at a time when his upcoming film, Varisu, is gearing up for a grand Pongal release in January 2023. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally under Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the upcoming film's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights are announced to have been bagged by producer-distributor Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studios. Varisu, which is billed to be a wholesome family entertainer, is also coming out in Telugu under the title Vaarasudu and will see Vijay paired with national sensation Rashmika Mandanna, with music composed by Thaman. S. Apart from Varisu, Vijay is also expected to kick-start work on his next film, the tentatively titled Thalapathy 67 with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which will be a reunion for the duo after their 2021 box office money-spinner, Master.
