Recently, a section of media had reported that leading Telugu stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are in a relationship, adding that the duo will get married towards the end of this year. The news instantly spread on social media among the fans, garnering everyone's attention. However, the news turns out to be an unverified rumour. Yes! Vijay Deverakonda posted a tweet in which he denied such developments. Calling it nonsense news, Vijay Deverakonda posted a cryptic tweet that read, "As usual nonsense.. Don’t we just ❤️ da news!".

This clarification from Vijay Deverakonda has put an end to all the speculations that were doing rounds on social media since morning. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika have been great friends and the duo have acted together in two films - Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Vijay Deverakonda is currently working on his highly anticipated sports action drama, Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Liger is a pan Indian film that is set to release on August 25 in theatres. Liger has Boxing legend, Mike Tyson, playing a crucial role and his combination scenes with Vijay Deverakonda are said to be one of the major highlights of the movie.

Following Liger, Vijay Deverakonda and director Puri Jagannadh will join hands for another action drama titled Jana Gana Mana which is currently in the pre-production stages. Vijay also has a film with Pushpa director Sukumar and it is going to be an exciting film to watch out for. On the other hand, Rashmika, who recently tasted success with the phenomenal success of Pushpa: The Rise, will next be seen in Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu which is set to release in theatres this Friday, February 25. Rashmika also has two other movies - Mission Majnu and Goodbye, both being Hindi movies. Rashmika will also be a part of Pushpa: Part 2 which will release towards the end of this year.
