The highly anticipated trailer of Vijay Deverakonda's next biggie, Liger is officially out and it definitely packs a punch. The trailer is loaded with high dose of energy and action packed moments and it looks like a riveting action drama is on its way. Vijay Deverakonda is in the best of his looks and his physique is apt for the role. The trailer also shows us a sneak peek of the Boxing legend, Mike Tyson who will be playing a special extended cameo in the film. The combination scenes between Vijay and Mike Tyson are sure to set the screens on fire. A lot of work has gone into the making of the action episodes in the film and we get to feel the impact through the trailer.

Vijay Deverakonda's raging energy is the major highlight of the trailer and he is effectively supported by the rest of the cast that includes female lead Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and others. Vijay's character seems to have stammering issues but plays someone who never wants to fail. Ramya Krishnan plays Vijay's mother and she seems to have got a meaty role to play as we see her portraying a bold and independent woman. The trailer has the potential to connect well with the masses and it looks like the film will take a very good opening at the box office.

Liger has been originally shot in Telugu and Hindi and it will have a dubbed release in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Liger is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 25 and we are a month away from witnessing the film. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and the star filmmaker seems to have got an exciting mass entertainer in his hand. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in association with Puri Jagannadh's Puri Connects, the film has background score composed by Mani Sharma. Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in World Famous Lover which released in early 2020 and after a gap of 2.5 years, he will be back on the big screens through Liger.
