On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in Liger which also stars Ananya Panday and boxing legend Mike Tyson. Written, directed, and produced by Puri Jagannadh, the sports drama will hit the theatres on 25 August 2022 in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. After Liger, he has got another film with Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur for Jana Gana Mana, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 3, 2023.
