It was earlier reported that the filming of CS Amudhan's upcoming film, Ratham, starring Vijay Antony was moving at a brisk pace. Now, a new update pertaining to the film has come and it seems that the project has officially wrapped up. The director took to his official Twitter handle to announce the news by sharing an image from the set where the final shot was taken.
Sharing a picture from the shooting, he wrote, "#Ratham Shooting is done. Very happy to bring it to a close with my buddy @kayoas13 . A war is coming, rest assured we have the ablest commander in @vijayantony . Prepare to be shocked!" Check it out:

CS Amudhan, who is known for his comic films like Thamizh Padam and Thamizh Padam 2, is going out his comfort zone by making a serious thriller film like Ratham. The film also stars Mahima Nambiar, Nanditha Swetha and Ramya Nambeesan in crucial roles with Nizhalgal Ravi, John Mahendran, Kalairani, Mahesh, Jagan, OAK Sundar, Meesha Ghoshal, and Ameya as a part of the supporting cast. Ratham is said to be a mass entertainer loaded with unexpected twists, turns, and surprise elements that will appeal to people from all walks of life.
On the technical side of things, the music is being composed by Kannan, cinematography by Gopi Amarnath, editing by Dhilip Subbarayan, and stunt choreography by TS Suresh. The film is being produced by Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, B. Pradeep & Pankaj Bohra under Infiniti Film Ventures banner.
On the work front, Vijay Antony has an array of films in his kitty. He has completed filming and is awating the release of Thamezharasan, Agni Siragugal and Khakhi. Meanwhile, he is in the process of filming 3 other films which are Pichaikkaran 2, Kolai and Mazhai Pidikkaadha Manidhan.
