Vijay Antony's next film has been titled Vallimayil and the first look poster of the film has also been unveiled. The first look of Vallimayil was released yesterday (June 14) on social media and it introduces to us the central characters of the film. The first look is intense and it tells us that the film is going to be a serious drama. The poster also confirms that Vijay Antony will be donning the role of a police officer. Faria Abdullah plays the female lead in this film that has Sathyaraj, Bharathiraja, Sunil, and Redin Kingsley in crucial roles. Valli Mayil is directed by Suseenthiran and it looks like the talented filmmaker is in no mood for a short break.

Produced by DN Thai Saravanan under the banner of Nallusamy Pictures, Valli Mayil will have music composed by D Imman who has already worked with Suseenthiran in films like Maaveeran Kittu. Valli Mayil has cinematography handled by Vijay K Chakravarthi, while Antony and K Udhaya Kumar have taken care of the editing and art direction departments respectively. Bhaskar Sakthi has penned the dialogues for the film. Going by the pan-Indian release trend, Valli Mayil will also be released in 5 different languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The shooting of the film is currently underway and is expected to be wrapped up in the next few weeks. Vijay Antony has multiple other projects in his kitty and it includes Agni Siragugal, Thamezharasan, Pichaikkaran 2, Khakhi, Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan, Ratham, and more. All the six films are in different stages of production and are expected to release this year. Vijay Antony will be seen sharing screen space with Arun Vijay for the first time with Agni Siragugal which is helmed by Naveen of Moodar Koodam fame. Vijay Antony will be turning a director with Pichaikkaran 2 and it is going to be interesting to see what he has in store for the audience.
