"Nayanthara is the one making it easy" - Vignesh Shivan gets candid about his relationship with 'Lady Superstar'! EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!

Vignesh Shivan is a well-known director who has done four hit films. The director made his debut with Podaa Podi and his second film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan had Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as lead. During the filming of the movie, the director and Nayanthara became close and made their relationship official later. The couple got married in an elaborate wedding ceremony last year after the release of Vignesh Shivan’s fourth film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. They also recently confirmed the names of their twin baby boys and candidly shared a glimpse of their family life. 

Vignesh Shivan gave an exclusive interview in the new 'Game Changers with Suhasini Maniratnam', the next big initiative of Galatta media, where leading Tamil and Indian cinema personalities share their insights. The director shared some interesting details about his beau Nayanthara and their relationship in the interview. As Suhasini Maniratnam asked how is it to be married to an actress to a star? Vignesh Shivan said, “She is the one who is making it easy, that is what Nayan is. She is the one who places the relationship correctly”. He then further explained that “I am not a director and she is not a star when we are together or whenever it is. I am just an upcoming director. I don't have a strong base, and I am trying to do something, I am en route to wherever I want to be. Nayanthara is an established star, and whatever star she is, because of the way she works. Because of her dedication and sincerity. She will do her job to the tee. The way she is with me is, she will not behave like an actor. She will be normal. For example, if we are eat late at night at 12.30 or 1.00 o’clock. Sometimes we would watch movies and sleep late. she'll wash the vessels we ate in and then go to sleep. It might be a small thing. Now, we have 10 people working at our house, If we wake them up and ask them to wash it, they will, but She’ll not do that. She will wash it herself and keep and go to seep saying it's not good for the house. This small thing makes her a good woman. As she is a good woman, It's easy in the relationship. I have never seen that star attitude in Nayan. She is the one making it easy for me to live."
