Expressing her joy at witnessing Nayanthara's heart-warming gesture, Vignesh Shivan's mother said, "There are eight people working in our house as housekeepers - four men and four women. Nayanthara noticed one of the women was quite sad and asked her what was bothering her. When she told her that she had financial issues and needed Rs. 4 lakhs to settle a pending loan, Nayanthara immediately helped her with the money and instructed her to close her debt. I watched this happen in front of my eyes." Nayanthara's mother-in-law further stated, "Some might think that she gave the money because she is able to lend, but giving too requires a big heart. That maid worked so much and so hard for us. Likewise, Nayanthara's mother too had come from Kerala during a visit here and presented the woman with her own gold bangles." The actress has been praised by fans on social media since her mother-in-law's statements during her interaction with the media as videos and clips of the interview have gone viral.
On the work front, Nayanthara has her hands full up ahead as she will be seen in the Malayalam film, Gold, on December 1, which is coming out in Tamil as well, opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran and under Premam fame Alphonse Puthren's direction. She also has in her lineup Tamil films like the eagerly-awaited horror thriller Connect hitting screens on December 22, followed by Jayam Ravi's Iraivan, the tentatively titled Lady Superstar 75 under newcomer Nilesh Krishnaa’s direction, and NT 81 with Ethir Neechal, Kodi, and Pattas fame Durai Senthil Kumar. Nayanthara is also a part of Alphonse Puthren's Paattu in Malayalam, which has Fahadh Faasil, while she is also making her highly-anticipated Bollywood debut in Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
