Tamil filmmaker Vignesh Shivan shared a special sneak peek into his Onam celebrations with wife Nayanthara and their twin sons Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan and Ulag Daiwik N Shivan on Sunday, August 27. The blockbuster director posted adorable pictures of themselves and their twins in traditional attire while enjoying the delicious Onam feast. Both Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara are dressed in white, while their sons are seen wearing white veshtis as their loving parents plant kisses on their cheeks during their meal together.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Vignesh first posted photos of himself along with Nayanthara and their sons Uyir and Ulagam having their meal. Sharing the pictures, he wrote in the caption: "First Onam with my Uyir & Ulagam. As the festival starts early here! Wishing everyone in advance a very happy ONAM." (sic) The second set of photos shows both Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara sharing a special personal moment, with the filmmaker writing in the caption: "In our very simple, beautiful life! A beautiful, simple moment which feels special. ONAM festivities begin here with my Uyirs & Ulagamsss, wishing everyone in advance a very happy ONAM." (sic)
Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara tied the knot in Chennai on June 9, 2022, in the presence of family members and close friends, with many big names from Indian cinema also wishing them on the next step in their life journey together. The couple was blessed with their twin boys, Uyir RudroNeel N Shivan and Ulag Daiwik N Shivan, via surrogacy on October 9 of the same year. On the work front, Nayanthara will be seen next in the highly-anticipated Jawan opposite Shah Rukh Khan, scheduled to release worldwide on September 7. 'Lady Superstar', as she is fondly called by her ardent fans everywhere, Nayanthara will be making her big Bollywood debut in the upcoming mass action thriller, which is also the launchpad in Hindi cinema for director Atlee, composer 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu, and editor Ruben, while 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who was seen in a crucial role in Mumbaikar earlier this year, is cast as the antagonist. Vignesh Shivan, on the other hand, is currently working on the script of his next venture and reports state that Comali and Love Today fame Pradeep Ranganathan will be seen playing the lead role, with an official announcement awaited.
