EXCLUSIVE: Vignesh Shivan reveals intriguing details about a Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal scene - here's what he said! WATCH VIDEO!

Galatta Media, known for organisingincredible events, recently organised a fans festival for the popular director Vignesh Shivan. He made his debut with the film Podaa Podi featuring SIlambrasan TR and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as lead. He then did the film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. The director worked with Suriya in Thaana Serndha Koottam and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in his recent film. During the fans festival, a special session was held, where the director shared some insights into the making of some scenes from his films.

The scene with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as characters Rambo and Kanmani in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was played at the event. In the scene, Kanmani would explain her situation and say she wanted to go on a trip. It shows Vijay Sethupathi driving round and round at the same place and saying here is Kullu manali, here is Rajasthan to make Kanmani happy. When asked about the scene. The director said “I like this sequence very much. Their acting everything would have worked very well. Because VS (Vijay Sethupathi) liked this too, when I wrote it. He praised it saying ‘Great, this is a great scene, very fresh and new’. So I like this scene a lot, yeah."

When asked about how he conveyed the scene to them, the director Vignesh Shivan said “Actually, that location was very helpful, I thought of the scene at that location. Then, the imagination in there right, Like, what he says to make that girl happy. The things he says, that imagination he will bring in, but outside there will not be anything. He would do something to dilute that moment. So, I felt it was a fantasy element and I enjoyed writing it. I like it so much. Commercially, the film was a big success, even from the audience side. But, critically, I did not receive what I expected. Now it's 2023 right, around 2025 or 2026, I think it will get recognised."
