Vignesh Shivan is one of the popular director of the Tamil film industry and his latest film was Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The second film of the director was a blockbuster hit Naanum Rowdy Dhaan starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi and 'Lady superstar' Nayanthara in the lead roles. Following the release of the film, there were speculations that the director and the actress were dating and they later confirmed the rumours. The couple got married in a grand ceremony last year and welcomed their two sons. The celebrity duo has been setting a couple of goals with each photo that they seldom share on social media.
Galatta Media, known for organising awe-inspiring events, organised a special fans festival for the director Vignesh Shivan. In a special session, The director shared some insights into his relationship with his wife Nayanthara as famous Youtube couple Ram & Jaanu posed questions to then. When asked at which point he thought Nayanthara is the person for him and should impress her. The director said “It’s a very natural and organic process, so I did not think like that at any point. Because I was directing at that time, right. I was just doing my job and directing her correctly. Eventually, it fell into a place where we started liking each other. We started talking and so on. Even after our relationship we had three schedules of shooting and all those shootings happened just like it did on day 1. I would call her mam on set, so I maintained the respect. Only, when the news came out it became awkward, till then I was peacefully doing my work. So, I was just genuinely doing my work."
When asked how Vignesh Shivan tried to impress Nayanthara. The director said “I don't know if anybody can impress someone else, But it just happened love happens, You cannot plan or program it." When asked if she was impressed by his direction. The director jokingly said they should ask this question to the actress.
