Galatta Media, known for organising awe-inspiring events, organised a fans meet for the talented director Vignesh Shivan. The director has done four films in the Tamil film industry and has also penned lyrics for multiple films. He made his debut with Podaa Podi, He is Known for choosing quirky plots that have not been explored much and his films often have a comedic element. The recent film of the director Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal was released last year with Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara in important roles.

During the Fans Festival for Vignesh Shivan organised by Galatta Media, the director answered some questions raised by fans. One Fan asked him about his friendships with other notable and blockbuster directors Nelson Dilipkumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj. The director said “Nelson is my childhood friend, We are close friends. Lokesh, I knew only recently. I mean from the time he became an director, from Maanagaram film. But Nelson is a long-time friend. We were in the same area and we have even played cricket together. Like that, we have known each other for a long time. So, more like family and friends. But Lokesh, I think we will become family friends in the future”.
When a fan asked about Rowdy Pictures, the Vignesh Shivan said “We try to make unique content. Sometimes, films that wouldn’t work commercially but has great content too. I will think of producing it. They can reach out through email and people are there to curate it. The intention is to create opportunities, that we did not get, for others. Actually, Pebbles was our first film as a production house and it was an official entry to the Oscars”. The director answered many other interesting questions posted by the fans at the event.
