Popular south Indian actress Nayanthara has a packed line of films ahead and had given hits last year with female-centric films, Kolamaavu Kokila and Imaikkaa Nodigal. Her career this year also looks promising and has started on a positive note with her Airaa released last week.
Nayanthara was part of the blockbuster hit, Viswasam, paired opposite 'Thala' Ajith and her first dual role in her career also happened with Airaa. She also has films like Mr. Local with Sivakarthikeyan, Thalapathy 63 opposite Vijay and Thalaivar 167 with Rajinikanth to name the few high profile projects.
In Airaa, Nayanthara sported a de-glam look for the character of Bhavani and her performance for the same was widely appreciated. The film revolves around the characters Bhavani and Yamuna with the storyline dealing with the former wanting to kill the latter and what happens next forms the crux of the story.
Directed by KM Sarjun with music by KS Sundramoorthy, Airaa was produced by KJR Studios with Trident Arts distributing the film. With the movie running in theatres, a new sneak peek depicting the pain of Bhavani has been released and can be watched below:
