It's official - Ajith Kumar's AK 62 is titled VidaaMuyarchi, Lyca Productions announced on social media on the occasion of the Tamil superstar's 52nd birthday today. The blockbuster production-distribution banner has also officially confirmed that filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni of Thadam fame is directing the upcoming venture, which will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, followed by Nirav Shah as the cinematographer, and Gopi Prasannaa as the publicity designer. This is the first official confirmation of Magizh Thirumeni being revealed as the director of VidaaMuyarchi after Lyca Productions had last year announced the project with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who is no longer a part of the film. The film's announcement has come as a big treat for Ajith's fans everywhere, who have been waiting to hear about the project since the release of Thunivu earlier this year. VidaaMuyarchi marks the first time Lyca Productions is bankrolling an Ajith venture after they oversaw the overseas distribution of Thunivu back in January. Filming on VidaaMuyarchi is expected to begin rolling in May after Ajith returns from his bike trip in Nepal, with reports stating the film could be heading to cinemas worldwide in summer 2024. The title announcement poster has also created quite a lot of buzz as it shows a maze hinting that the film's plot will be along the lines of a mystery, which has gotten many fans quite excited and it remains to be seen what Magizh Thirumeni is cooking next. Ajith and Magizh are collaborating for the first time and there is massive excitement for the filmmaker to deliver yet another thrilling entertainer along the lines of his Thadaiyara Thaakka and Thadam. Similarly, the film is also Anirudh's first-time coming on board an Ajith venture after almost 6 years when they last collaborated on Vivegam (2017), and fans look forward to yet another power-packed blockbuster album from the chart-topping composer.
