Currently in post-production stages, Viduthalai is Vetri Maaran's first theatrical directorial after Asuran in 2019 and expectations are huge for the filmmaker to hit the high note once again. The film has been produced by Elred Kumar's RS Infotainment banner and features music by 'Maestro' Ilaiyaraaja, with the first single track 'Onnoda Nadandhaa' sung by Dhanush and Ananya Bhat topping the charts. Viduthalai will also be getting a big release across Tamil Nadu as the theatrical rights have been bagged by Red Giant Movies, who have already entered 2023 on a positive note with the blockbuster success of Ajith Kumar's Thunivu and Kavin's Dada.
Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai will see Soori and Vijay Sethupathi sharing screen space with Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajiv Menon, Chethan, Bhavani Sre, among others who will be appearing in crucial roles, with fans now waiting for the film's release date announcement. Although there has been no confirmation as yet, there have been reports over the week stating that the film is being planned for a theatrical release towards the end of March, with a grand audio launch expected to take place next month.
