Viduthalai Part: 1 was the next big project of Vetri Maaran after the blockbuster hit film Asuran. The first part of the two-part film was released in theatres on March 31, the film created a huge excitement project that has been in the works for over two years and has a popular supporting artist and comedian Soori, who has acted in over 50 films, playing lead for the first time. The film has now crossed a huge milestone. The exciting film received positive feedback from fans and movie buffs alike has now crossed the 50 days of theatrical run, the production house that bankrolled the film R Infotainment shared the news with new posters of the film and said “The Mega Blockbuster - Entered 50th day". Red Giant Movies, whoo districbuted the film, also shared the poster and said “50 days and counting"

The producer of the film Viduthalai Part: 1 shared the milestone with a special note saying “50th say a special mention to all the souls who have worked hard to make this project a successful one, Thank you one and all”. The film was also co-produced by the Grass Root Film Company which was headed by the director the film Vetri Maaran. The final also has the sought-after actor Vijay Sethupathi in an important role as Vaathiyaar.

An extended version of Viduthalai Part:1 was released on the OTT platform Zee 5 after the release of the film. It was also one of the most-watched films on the streaming platform. And this film crossed the 50th-day milestone despite its OTT release makes it more special. The film has music composed by 'Isaignani' Ilayaraja and Bhavani Sre plays the female lead with director Gautham Vasudev Menon and Rajiv Menon and Chetan, Munnar Ramesh, Ilavarasu and others in important roles.
