Meanwhile, the production house behind the film, Srinivasaa Silver Screen, recently shared a photo of Naga Chaitanya in a dubbing studio, announcing that the movie's dubbing has begun. This post has since gone viral, as fans eagerly anticipate the film's release on May 12.

Venkat Prabhu is directing the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Custody which he wrote along with Abburi Ravi. The movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty in lead roles and is being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. The supporting cast of the film includes Arvind Swami, Premji Amaran, Priyamani, R. Sarath Kumar, Sampath Raj, and so on. Custody features music from both 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who are collaborating once again after their work on Vijay Sethupathi's Maamanithan. Moreover, Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar Raja combinedly worked in many films together and gave many hit songs. This has left fans eagerly anticipating the soundtrack of their upcoming film Custody.
Custody marks the Telugu debut of Venkat Prabhu who has given many great hits in Tamil which includes Chennai 600028, Mankatha, Goa, Saroja, and so on. In 2021, he directed Maanaadu, starring Silambarasan, which became a box-office success and received positive reviews from critics. Even though his most recent film Manmadha Leelai starring Ashok Selvan got mixed reviews, it did not affect the anticipation for his upcoming movie.
