The countdown is on for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Varisu releasing in theatres worldwide on January 11 ahead of the Pongal festivities and the excitement in the air is massive. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, the upcoming film is billed to be a family entertainer and features songs and a background score composed by Thaman. S, whose tunes are still reigning at the top of the charts. With only a few hours left for the celebrations to kick off for the theatrical release of Varisu, Thaman has now taken to social media to share his views in an emotional statement after watching the film's final cut.
Posting a photo of himself and Vijay from a music recording studio, Thaman revealed on Twitter how the Tamil superstar's performance in the emotional scenes left him in tears while adding that Varisu as a movie is like his family and will remain close to his heart. Vijay will be looking to hit the bullseye at the box office and this time with his Varisu and fans are mighty excited to witness him in a family-oriented role once again as he has been seen predominantly in action films over the years.
