Big names like Dulquer Salmaan, Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Kalyani Priyadarshan teamed up for the Malayalam family drama film titled Varane Avashyamund and the film was written and directed by Anoop Sathyan in his directorial debut. The film also featured actors like Urvashi, Major Ravi, Lalu Alex and Johny Antony playing supporting roles. Kalyani Priyadarshan who made her Tamil debut recently with the big-budget film Hero opposite Sivakarthikeyan made her Malayalam debut with this film. Bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan himself under the banner of Wayfarer Films and M Star Entertainments, this movie has music composed by Alphons Joseph. The cinematography was handled by Mukesh Muraleedharan and the editing was done by Toby John.
