Bigg Boss 3 fame Losliya's father Mariyanesan passed away last night (November 15) and the news has come as a shocker for everyone. The fans are mourning the death of Mariyanesan on social media and condolence messages are pouring in for Losliya and her family. According to reports, Mariyanesan passed away last night in Canada due to a heart attack and it is said that his body is yet to be brought back to Sri Lanka. Vanitha Vijayakumar, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 3, took to her Twitter page to express her grief over Mariyanesan's demise.

She tweeted, "Even sadder to hearing the news of #LosliyaMariyanesan. cruel... I don't know how they are handling this... especially being he was the breadwinner and 3 daughters... very heartbroken.. life is too unpredictable... scary... I hope they can atleast bring back his body in this time".

Similarly, director Cheran mourned shared his condolence message by tweeting, "லாஸ்லியா.. தந்தையின் மேல் எத்தனை அன்பும், கனவும் வைத்திருந்தாய் என்பது நன்றாக தெரியும். இந்த செய்தி என்னையே உலுக்குகிறது. எப்படித்தாங்குவாய் மகளே. சொல்ல முடியாத துயரில் துடிக்கும் உனக்கும் குடும்பத்துக்கும் எப்படி ஆறுதல் சொல்வதென தெரியவில்லை. ஆழ்ந்த அனுதாபங்கள்.". Cheran was like a father figure to Losliya during the Bigg Boss days and they shared a sweet rapport. It is said that the process for bringing back Mariyanesan to Sri Lanka has been initiated.
