Losliya, who rose to fame and attained popularity after participating in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil, lost her father last night (November 15). Losliya's father, Mariyanesan passed away last night due to a heart attack and he breathed his last in Canada. The news took everyone by deep shock and Losliya's fans are mourning his demise on social media. As per the current reports, Losliya and her family have currently initiated the process to bring back Mariyanesan to Sri Lanka from Canada. Due to the Covid-19 norms, the process is said to be quite delayed.

Vanitha Vijayakumar, who was one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 3, took to her Twitter page to share the current update regarding the issue. Vanitha also said that Losliya is completely heartbroken, adding that she is in uncontrollable tears. Vanitha tweeted, "To all #Losliya fans... I spoke to her she is devastated and crying..but she will be strong she's trying to fly to srilanka. arranging thru embassy @vijaytelevision team is with her. due to covid pandemic the body can't reach srilanka immediately. ive given her my love and blessings. Just spoke to @AbhiramiVenkat3 and few other housemates #BiggBossTamil3 house mates are all in touch with her.. we have offered our help and support to try and get this travel situation fixed.. hopefully something will happen... god be with her".
