Director Radha Mohan's Uppu Karuvadu is going strong across 90 screens in Tamil Nadu. Like his previous ventures, this one is also a female oriented film. At the same time, unlike his other projects, this film has an extra dose of humour elements and is an out-and-out comedy entertainer. The film featuring Nandita and Karunakaran in the lead, also has Mayilsamy, Kumaravel, Narayanan, MS Baskar, Saravanan, Doubt Senthil and many others. In the film, Karunakaran plays the role of an aspiring director, who ends up in a fishing hamlet. Uppu Karuvadu is produced by First Copy Pictures and Night Show Cinema. Auraa Cinemas have acquired the distribution rights of the film.
