'Unakku 60 Enakku' 16 wins award
A short film titled 'Unakku 60... Enakku 16', produced by the Small Savings Department, Govt. of Tamilnadu, won the 'Best Senior Citizen Film' Award in Chennai recently. The film, directed by M. Chandru, is a collection of controversies between two generations: 60's and 16's. The awards ceremony was held on May 19 at Four Frames Preview Theatre, Chennai. Interestingly Chandru's three ad films were also nominated under the 'Best Ad Film' category. Chandru is a film graduate from Film and Television Institute of Tamilnadu with 14 years�experience. He has also won several Best Film Awards for his short film 'Thuppuravu Aridhal'.
