'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan rose to the occasion on Saturday, March 9, and made a massive donation for the construction of the Nadigar Sangam building. The leading Tamil actor contributed a sum of Rs. 1 crore for the setting up of the establishment from his own funds by handing over a cheque to administrators Nasser, Vishal, Karthi and Poochi Murugan. Kamal Haasan's latest decision to extend the amount to the cause of the Nadigar Sangam has come after he and 'Superstar' Rajinikanth laid the foundation stone for the structure in April 2017, with the construction coming to a subsequent halt due to various financial hurdles.
