Udhayanidhi Stalin is a well-known name in Tamil Nadu as an actor and a politician. He is also a well-known producer and distributor under the banner of Red Giant Movies. He has done many films that became a hit since his debut as a hero in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, Manitha, Kanne Kalaimane, Psycho and so on. Last year, he did were Nenjuku Needi directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and Kalaga Thalaivan directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Kannai Nambathey is his upcoming film that's set to released in theatres on 17th March. Udhayanithi Stalin announced that Maamannan will be the last film as an actor as he took oath as the Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister of Tamil Nadu Government in December.

Kannai Nambathey is an upcoming film directed by Mu Maran who directed the interesting thriller flick Iravukku Aayiaram Kangal which was released in 2019. This is the second film of the director and it looks like this will also be a racy thriller. The film has Udhayanidhi Stalin and Aathmika in the lead role with Sathish, Subiksha Krishnan, Prasanna, Bhumika Chawla and others in supporting roles. It has music composed by Siddhu Kumar and is bankrolled by Lipi Cine Crafts.
Ahead of the release of the film, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aathmika and the director Mu Maran have sat down for an exclusive interview to Galatta Media. As the film began has been in the works for a long time, Udhayanidhi Stalin made some jokes about it and shared some details from her personal life with his kids in the interview. When the anchor asked about his tattoos and the meaning they carry. The actor revealed that he only has three tattoos, one of a star with the name of his daughter Tanmaya and his first film title written in it and another one on his hand with the name of his son Inbanithi which he got in the US with his wife Kiruthiga Udayanidhi and actor Vishal and the third is a Buddha tattoo in his biceps. the Actor joked that, “My tattoos are not Vetri Maaran's films to decode!”.
