Maamannan is a recent blockbuster film of actor Udhayanidhi Stalin and ‘Vaigai Puyal’ Vadivelu that was released in theatres last month on June 29th. The film helmed by Mari Selvaraj became a huge hit and now, the makers have revealed the post-theatrical OTT release date of the makers. One of the popular OTT streaming platforms Netflix has revealed that the film Maamannan will release on the platform on July 27. They have announced a new poster that shows the film will be released in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Maamannan was released in theatres on June 29 and the producer and leading actor of the film Udhayanidhi Stalin has said that the film grossed over Rs.52 crores in nine days since its theatrical release. It was the last movie in his career as an actor as he has taken oath as a minister in the Tamil Nadu assembly. Now, the makers have released that the film will be premiere on the popular OTT streaming platform. It has created huge excitement as fans who have watched the film in theatres can again catch it on the streaming platform from next weekend.
