Popular Hindi television actor Ashish Trivedi sustained injuries on his shoulder last week during the filming of the hit supernatural fiction series Naagin, which is currently in its sixth season. He is playing the role of Mayank, who is the boyfriend of Tejasswi Prakash's character Pratha, and had shared photos of his shoulder injury on his Instagram Stories. Speaking about his injury in an interview to ETimes TV, Ashish said, "It's not a very big deal. I shared it on my social media not to tell people that I am hurt, but because I share things with them. But yes people have showed concern and I would like to thank them for it."
Ashish further explained about the incident and said, "We were shooting for an intense scene, where my co-actor had to push me. While he was pushing me on my shoulder, we had a mic installed there which came in between and I got hurt. Everyone on the set, including my co-actor, was concerned, but I asked them to continue shooting because there were just a few minutes left for packup. I am better now." Comparing his role from his previous show Udaan, the actor expressed his excitement in taking up a role that has negative shades to it in Naagin 6 adding that it is an opportunity for him to tap into his acting potential and likewise perform more.
Being telecast on Colors TV, Naagin 6, which has Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash playing the lead role, has so far received a stellar feedback from fans and is also streaming on Voot. Produced under Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms banner, some of the other notable names on the show include Sudha Chandran, Bakul Thakkar, Abhishek Verma, Nupur Dhariwal, Gayathiri Iyer, Aditi Shetty, Shalani Tharaka, Reema Worah among others.
