Director Gautham Vasudev Menon released the teaser of his short film, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn, last week and it came as a huge surprise for the fans. This short film, which has been shot during this quarantine period, is like a lead to the sequel of the classic romantic drama, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. In the teaser, we saw Trisha talking to Karthik over the phone, telling him that the situation would get better and the film industry would bounce back (as Karthik is a filmmaker). We saw only Trisha in the teaser and we probably would see STR as well, when the short film releases in a few days.

In a recent live chat with fans, Trisha was asked about the release plans of Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. To that, the ace actress replied saying that the release will take a few more days as the musical works for the short film are currently in progress. "Little longer...Music getting done", Trisha said. We are not completely sure if A.R.Rahman will be composing the music for the short film or if it will be someone else.

We will have to wait for a few more days to get some clarity on that. However, it is sure that the fans are eagerly waiting to witness this short film very soon and fall in love with Karthik and Jessie once again. Check out the screenshot of Trisha's reply below:
