Marvel Studios have been one to look out for after churning multiple movies as a part of their Marvel Cinematic Universe. After a point, they shifted from completely focusing on films to making their own miniseries' as well. The series and show all fit in with each other as planned by Marvel for the Phase 4 of their run after the events of Avengers: End Game.

One such film which is awaiting release is Taika Waititi's Thor: Love and Thunder. It has been 5 years since we have seen Thor feature in his standalone franchise one more time as his last film was Thor: Ragnarok, which was released back in 2019. This will be the fourth Thor film and the first Thor film in the new Phase 4 of marvel. With less than a month to go, the film is scheduled to release theatrically worldwide on 8 July 2022.
Yesterday on June 8, the official Twitter handle of Thor shared a clip with Guns N' Roses' 'Sweet Child O' Mine' playing in the background. Along with this, a caption was also attached that read, "The countdown BEGINS. Only 1️⃣ month until Marvel Studios' #ThorLoveAndThunder. Experience it only in theaters ❤️ + ⚡️ ". Fans are more than eager to watch their favorite Norse God of Thunder back on the big screen after a long time!.

Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) features all of the Marvel Studios productions released from 2021 through 2023. It is the first phase in the franchise to include television series in addition to the feature films that it was already set to produce. Phase Four began with the series WandaVision, premiering in January 2021, while the first theatrical film in this phase was Black Widow. Since then many films like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the recently released Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have made their way on to the big screen with Thor: Love and Thunder being next in line.
