Thol.Thirumavalavan of Viduthalai Siruthaigal has recently issued a statement requesting the ban of director AR Murugadoss’s upcoming directorial Kaththi starring Vijay and Samantha. This much awaited film was gearing up to hit screens this Diwali but now there is an air of uncertainty surrounding its release.

In his statement Thirumavalavan also states he has no personal grudge against Vijay or AR Murugadoss.  Lyca productions is allegedly said to have a business connection with Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapakshe and to ensure no business associated with them enters India, he has requested a ban on the film.Stay tuned to us for more updates.
