One film that has been creating a massive buzz ever since it was announced is The Legend, which marks the acting debut of 'Legend' Saravanan, the current owner of one of the leading retail stores in India, Saravana Stores. And, the first visuals from the film scream a larger than life image for Legend Saravanan, who shows promise from start to end in the action sci-fi venture, which also marks the return of the JD-Jerry filmmaker duo, who are known best for their films like the Ajith Kumar and 'Chiyaan' Vikram-starrer Ullasam and the 2003 horror film Whistle. The Legend trailer released on Sunday evening at the film's grand audio launch event at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai gives a glimpse of Legend Saravanan and his capabilities as an actor. 

The Legend trailer shows Legend Saravanan as a scientist with a deep love for his motherland and fellow beings and as one who wants to do good that will benefit the society until he faces obstacles in the form of the antagonist played by veteran actor Suman. The trailer is without a doubt a one-man show from beginning to finish and Legend Saravanan makes heads turn in every department - be it his skills as a performer, his efforts in the action scenes, the dance in the song sequences - he has shown that he definitely has the potential. 

Apart from Legend Saravanan, The Legend trailer features diverse talent starting with late comedian-actor Vivekh, who once again impresses us in the few sequences he appears but also leaves us feeling a bit emotional considering he passed away last year and it will be a bittersweet emotional time for many when he appears on the big screen. The rest of the cast of The Legend includes heroines Urvashi Rautela and Geethika Tiwary, who appear to give ample support to Legend Saravanan, followed by Nasser, Prabhu, Vijayakumar, Yogi Babu, Mayilsamy among others. 

Based on the visuals in The Legend trailer, we can say that Legend Saravanan is complimented well in the production department as the making shows that the film has been made on a majestic scale. Directors JD and Jerry have given a sneak peek into an engaging plot for the film in the right amount to invite audiences to theatres and the story teased in the trailer shows that the film is tailor-made for Tamil cinema fans. Likewise, the technical team hits the bullseye on all fronts starting with music director Harris Jayaraj, whose songs are already huge chart-busters and his background score too can be expected to be stellar in the final cut of The Legend when it comes out in theatres soon. Cinematographer R. Velraj has shown once again why he is one of the most sought-after names in the industry and he has cranked the camera to elevate the image of Legend Saravanan. Editor Ruben, who has been a powerful force in several blockbusters over the years, has once again seen to it that the visuals in the trailer evoke a sense of intrigue and it will be interesting to witness his skills in full glory when The Legend releases on the big screen.
