Prithviraj, who has been promoting The Goat Life aggressively, opened up on the genres he would like to direct leading Tamil actors in starting with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth. Stating that he wished to see the Rajinikanth in a comedy film, Prithviraj revealed that his favorite film of the celebrated Tamil star was Thillu Mullu (1981). He explained, "I wanted to do Bro Daddy with Rajini sir." Upon being queried about the kind of film he would direct Kamal Haasan in, Prithviraj said he would cast the iconic actor in a film set in the drama genre. He said, "He (Kamal Haasan) is one of the greatest dramatic actors the world has ever seen."
When queried about the genre he would cast 'Thalapathy' Vijay in, Prithviraj opened up by saying, "I would love to do a very dark and real action film with him. Vijay sir does a lot of action films, but without necessarily being in the same line, I feel it would be superb to do a very dark, gritty, and a real film." He added, "It won't be a cinematic action film. I want something more real and gritty." Prithviraj also went on to speak about Suriya and said, "Contrary to popular belief, a love story is candy floss and light. To pull off a love story, you need a fantastic actor. And, Suriya to me is one of the finest actors in the country today. So, I think a beautiful, mature love story would be great."
