A biopic on the former and Late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy is being made in Telugu with Malayalam superstar Mammootty portraying the lead role.
Titled Yaatra, there have been reports across certain sections of the media stating actor Karthi too had been approached for a role in the biopic.
Apparently, Karthi’s name was being referenced to portray Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy, the son of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
With the news catching steam, it is said Karthi’s team has brushed it away as a rumor and that the Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru star is at present only focused on his Karthi 17, which has the speculative title Dev.
