Karthi's Viruman has released today (August 12) amidst good level of expectations and the film is also off to an impressive start at the box office. With the film managing to strike a chord with the family audiences, Viruman is expected to do good business at the box office. The first shows of the Karthi starrer began in Chennai at 8 AM and the cast and crew were present at various theatres to witness the audiences response. Aditi Shankar who has made her Tamil cinema acting debut with Viruman came along with her family and friends to witness herself on the big screen for the first time. Aditi visited Rohini Silver Screens in Koyambedu, Chennai.

However, the FDFS of Viruman had an unexpected guest indeed taking everyone by pleasant surprise. Sangeetha Vijay, wife of Thalapathy Vijay, was present at the same Rohini theatre to catch Viruman. The visuals of Sangeetha Vijay watching the film and talking with Aditi Shankar have already surfaced on social media and have been doing great rounds since morning. It is a known fact that Vijay's family shares a heartwarming rapport with director Shankar's family and Sangeetha being present on Aditi's most important day is a reflection of the same. Vijay's fans have also been delighted seeing the pictures on social media.

Viruman is directed by Muthaiya of Komban and Kutti Puli fame and it has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Suriya has produced the film under his banner of 2D Entertainment, with Prakash Raj, Soori, Raj Kiran, Vadivukkarasi, RK Suresh, Myna Nandhini, Manoj Bharathiraja, and others in important roles. While Viruman has taken a good opening, Aditi Shankar has already signed her second film and it will be with Sivakarthikeyan. Aditi will be romancing SK in his upcoming action drama, Maaveeran directed by Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame. Happening days ahead for the young sensation!
